Immaculate and luxury rooms, exceptionally comfortable beds. Amazing bathroom, very nice and amazingly great staff. Favourable and excellent location in Calella, close enough to the city of Calella as well as Barcelona. Also, in an area where parking is at a premium.

Callela de la Palafrugell had been recommended to us and we chose the hotel Sant Jordi for their Spa facilities. We made our way to Palafrugell only to discover that the hotel was in Calella de la Costa. (Maresme). Fortunately my husband is Spanish speaking and was able to communicate with the hotel and the taxi driver. Already we were disappointed and our taxi trip cost lOO euros. However, hotel Sant Jordi proved to be well located, lO minutes from the main tourist areas, their spa facilities were excellent, rooms, meals and staff could not be faulted. In the end we had a good rest and great holiday. Well recommended.

I've stayed in the Hotel for a week, the location was perfect within 1 hour (train) commuting to Barcelona, 20 min walk to the train station & close to the shopping area 15 min walk, while having some relaxing time, spa was huge and superb(up to 3 hours daily included in price),though some extras were unexpected...or maybe haven't been passed on..gym is payable (E6); i got a chance to enjoy the local fest--in September, with live band performance and Catalan treats, though everything was closed the day before.
the hotel is very small, and the room's decor is a bit dated;also my room was above the laundry+kitchen..so the noise of the machines and bottles was constant and as well, the "factory"noise at night - not sure if it was a boiler from the nearest hotel or something else, and the Olympic pool(only for training; spa has only 1 row for swimming no lights there after 6pm-very dangerous;even when i requested to turn on a bit of light, they couldn't do it) was crowded with hard-working Russian trainers who couldn't stop shouting at poor kids; and no view of any kind only huge hotel blocking the light(as the hotel has only 3floors); it was impossible to sit on the balcony; and the balcony was filthy - I've ended up cleaning it myself
